Its just that my communications with an organisation were called that but as far as I can recall all I did was point out and ask about scientific inaccuracies and logical inconsistencies or at least thats all I intended. Then on the day of the Charlie Hebdo attack, I get this communication saying my communications were "antagonistic, aggressive and offensive", effectively shutting down any discussion.
I find it ironic on the day of the Charlie Hebdo attack, where 10 journalists were killed for satirising therefore essentially criticising Islam simply because they were offended and their belief challenged.
I'm not afraid to challenge people on scientific inaccuracies, their political arguments or their religious beliefs. I don't think its ever right to call the person stupid or attack the person but that their ideas and beliefs are up for criticism and challenge.
UPDATE: Having re-read the communications in question, I can see how she might read them as patronising but nothing else.
Some people can be a touch sensitive and I do tend to ignore them... you can tell because they usually get very defensive for apparently no reason whatsoever... especially if it is just one person saying it...
